Illinois State is building momentum and maybe a win streak. On November 27th at home, the Redbirds edged the Warhawks in the Global Sports Roundball Classic, 59-55.

The Redbirds won as expected here, but the score was probably closer than it should have been.

Illinois State took this one by beating Louisiana-Monroe in free throw shooting and possession management.

The Redbirds had a better game at the charity stripe, with 70% shooting compared to 54% by the Warhawks. Turnovers made a difference with 16 giveaways for the Warhawks.
